Biostatistics student, Shangchen Song, was chosen by the American Public Health Association Statistics Committee as the final winner of the APHS/Stata Scholar Award after finalists’ presentations. Shangchen beat out two other finalists, one from Harvard Biostatistics, and another from the University of Maryland College Park.
Shangchen remarks, “It was a memorable and wonderful experience! The department’s generous support and insightful suggestions from our faculty members were instrumental in making the award happen! Thank you so much!”
