Congratulations to Dr. Susmita Datta who has been selected as a plenary speaker for the American Statistical Association’s, 2017 Women in Statistics and Data Science Conference. Dr. Datta’s plenary speech titled Making Your Mark, is 75 minutes in length and will be given October 19, 2017 in La Jolla, California. The audience will be a combination of professionals and students from academia, industry, and the government working in statistics and data science. The conference aims to bring together these groups to “Share WISDOM” (Women in Statistics, Data science, and –Omics) and highlight the achievements and career interests of women in statistics and data science.
